Join my brother Joel and me on a tour that will take us from downtown Oakland, NJ through the “Alps” of southern NY State to the back roads of northern NJ ending in Oakland NJ at W's Grill.  The scenery, foliage, and roads promise a breathtaking (spirited) cruise.  

We will meet at a Dunkin' Donuts at 338 Ramapo Valley Road, Oakland, NJ -  It is located in a strip mall adjacent to the Copper Tree Mal. Plan to arrive by 9:30  for a 10:00 AM departure. Map link to start Dunkin Donuts Oakland, NJ

Covering around 70 miles of twisting, turning, scenic back roads and state park routes, we will enjoy two legs of the trip.  The first will take us through a segment of Harriman State Park across a section of the Appalachian Trail; and the second leg will take us into the back roads of the Ringwood area, along the shores of reservoirs, ending at W's Grill in Oakland NJ for lunch.

We have been fortunate enough to secure a rain date of 10/16 so we get two chances at the run.
