  This is a repeating/reoccurring session on the 4th Thursday of Each Month. 

  Based on popular demand, this event will occur the fourth Thursday morning of each month during the Club’s driving season.  It will be a chance for you to join fellow members for a midweek breakfast and conversation in the Club’s central region and your host (me) will be ready to lead those interested on a spirited drive along my favorite area Miata roads.

  TOUR THE PINE BARRENS - LUNCH AT JD'S PUB

  Join Bill Anderson's 1 1/2 hour drive (approximately 65 miles) on straight and twisty backroads through the NJ Pine Barrens, past cranberry bogs, and along and over the Mullica River. As a bonus we  will pass within 3 miles of Leeds Point, birthplace of the original JERSEY DEVIL.

  We will end up at JD's Pub in Galloway for lunch.  Smithville is only a mile away if anyone wants to go for ice cream and shopping after lunch.

  The Parkway is easy to get to after lunch.  Just head north on Rt. 9 for a quicker ride home.

  Meet up at the regular McDonalds at 534 Monmouth Rd, Millstone / Cream Ridge / Jackson. We'll start getting together at 9:30 and depart at 10:15.

  NOTE: If McDonalds is closed we'll meet at the Burger King at the same address right next door.

  Harriman Park Scramble

  Departing from the Dunkin in Oakland NJ we will head north to the expansive Harriman Park to get a large helping of the delightful twisted roads and scenic vistas. By going back an forth a bit we will maximize the impact. As we leave the part the route is less intense but still great fun. A rest break will be a our norther most point as we wind our way back into NJ in northern Passaic county. Lunch will be at the small but fun Paul's Place at the south end of Greenwood Lake, NJ, a many decades long drive in known for hot dogs. I am an all too familiar face at this place.

  The overall agenda for the day will be:

   9:30 Gather for the tour 

  10:00 Depart on the drive

  11:30 Rest Break

  12:30 Arrive at Paul's for lunch

  We will offer 2 registration options, there will be written directions you can print at home created from the route planning tool that are several pages long if necessary.

  Follow the leader – run with the large group GPS Routes will be provided for reference.
  

  Follow the directions – link to the Rallista App. We will also provide a GPX file if you know what to do with that. Form small groups or run by yourself. These drivers will leave 15 min before the large group.

  Come out for an annual favorite Ice Cream Night at Jersey Freeze in Freehold,  NJ.
  

  Join us at 6:00 pm for dinner in the Jersey Freeze restaurant followed by ice cream on the other sice of the building  Plenty of indoor seating if the weather is still a bit cold.  

  Get together with friends you havent seen for a while and talk about the upcoming driving season.

  Revisiting an excursion into the Pocono mountains of PA. This trip is based on a former member's efforts in his neighborhood of PA. 

  We will start in a slightly more accessible location, the Panera Bread in Phillipsburg, NJ. We will cross the Delaware almost immediately  and follow the river north for a good distance just short of the Delaware Water Gap. After a brief break we will head Southeast toward the Blue Mountain area. Along the way we will enjoy the sweeping curves, twisty bits and grand view along the route. Lunch will be at the Blue Mountain Resort Slopeside Pub & Grill where every seat will offer a great view.  

   9:30 Gather for the tour

  12:30 Arrive at Blue Mountain Resort for lunch
