Join us for MiataFest III September 16-18 in historic Gettysburg, PA. We will be using the Wyndham Gettysburg as our host hotel.  The weekend will highlight several run options for Saturday as well as a Sunday return run. Included in your registration fee of $55 per person for members ($70 non Members) is the Friday meet-and-greet, the Saturday evening banquet, Sunday breakfast and event souvenir.  This price is contingent upon all participants staying at the Wyndham Hotel for 2 nights. We have committed to a specific number of rooms to drive the best possible room rate (much lower than any surrounding properties) so please patronize the Wyndham 

Hotel rates for the Wyndham are $134 plus tax per night for both single and double rooms including King rooms. Details for registering with the hotel will be included in your event confirmation email, DO NOT REGISTER directly as you will not get the rate we have negotiated.

 FRIDAY

• Early Bird - AACA Museum Lunch and Tour - http://www.aacamuseum.org/ $19 museum pass and box lunch meet at about noon and caravan (approx. 1hr) to Gettysburg after visit.

• Early Bird - Harley Davidson Factory Tour – Free tour at York, PA facility. Gather at nearby restaurant for lunch and caravan (approx. 1 hr) to Gettysburg after tour. http://www.harley-davidson.com/content/h-d/en_US/home/events/factory-tours/yorkpa.html

• Dinner on your own at nearby restaurants or downtown Gettysburg via short shuttle ride.
• Arrival Meet & Greet – 7:00 to 9:00 PM, cash bar.
• Registration – 7:00 to 10:00 PM

 SATURDAY

• Road Trip – For those looking to hit the road for some great scenery and historic highways join  Curt Springstead on this 5 hour (including lunch stop) adventure to the west of Gettysburg. The first half of the trip traces the Lincoln Highway before enjoying lunch at the Mountain House Restaurant atop the Tuscarora Mountains with great scenic views. Lunch is followed with an exploration of the mountain roads back to our hotel.
• Scenic Drive - Join Michele Kane for a scenic morning run with lunch at The Mill on rt 30 in New Oxford, followed by a short drive back to the hotel.  We will be exploring beautiful Adams County with a brief loop west into Franklin County before turning north and then east for lunch.  The area is mostly rural farmland with a number of apple orchards for which Adams County is famous.
• Tour on Your Own - soak up the rich history and beauty of the area on a self created tour.
  

 SUNDAY

• Homeward Bound – Jonathan Free will lead us on the beautiful back roads of the stunning lower Susquehanna River Valley. Lunch will be at the Victory Brewing Company Brewpub in Parkesburg, PA (http://www.victorybeer.com/brewpubs/parkesburg/). After lunch it’s a free for all, head directly home or group up with others going in your direction.
