“Wheels at Wood” is a charity event to raise funds for a student-designed bus shelter being built at the corner of York & Street roads in Warminster, PA. All proceeds will go to the construction of this vital community shelter.
Bus passengers today must wait in the rain, snow and dark for their ride, and the students of Archbishop Wood High School want to relieve their suffering by providing a safe, comfortable and well-lit place for those not fortunate enough to have a car of their own.
The architecture students have already designed a beautiful shelter for the site, and have received approval for the project from the Warminster Planning Commission and the Board of Supervisors. They’ve also convinced the land owner to contribute some of the funds for the construction. This student-run car show will hopefully bring in the last remaining funds for the project.
Show will include classic cars & bikes, music, and a craft show & sale for everyone to enjoy.
Attend the show as a visitor for free or show your car. For more information and to register for the car show visit the following:
