Join Anne and me on June 24, 2018 to explore the foot hills east of the Blue Mountain Ridge around Kempton PA. This is a 64 mile route that starts in Allentown with a few miles of familiar roads and three covered bridges from last year. The route however quickly finds new roads.
The roads are the rural back roads made for Miata’s that we love to drive on. Some of the roads are very narrow, only wide enough for a single a car in some places or a car and a half width wide. Drivers will be totally engaged as we traverse the varied terrain in the foot hills of the Appalachians. The views are spectacularly scenic.
The rest stop will be at the WK&S Railroad in Kempton. Lunch will be at the Ozgoods Neighborhood Grill and Bar in Kutztown.
This will be a run you will not soon forget. Join us; I know you’ll love it!
Meeting time: 9:30, departure time 10:00 AM
