Sussex County Run

Join Curt and Anne in another trip through the history of Del Val runs and the handiwork of Denise Balsama. This time we will focus on scenic Sussex County, NJ. Gathering at 9:30 AM at the McDonald’s in Columbia NJ we will immediately pick up the back roads through the hills and parks that fill the area paralleling the Delaware River.

The scenic and curvy roads offer something for everyone, driver and passenger alike. After navigating the southwest part of the county we will enter Stoles State Forest to climb to the top of the mountain and make a second stop to take in the High Point monument.

After visiting the monument we will travel a short distance to the Elias Cole Restaurant a popular place with bikers and travelers in the area.

Follow the leader – run with the large group

Follow the directions – you will be provided with written directions and a link to the Tourstart GPS app. Form small groups or run by yourself. These drivers will leave 15 min before the large group.
