Stroudsburg Tour

This tour will explore the area immediately to the south of East Stroudsburg, PA and the Delaware River. Based on a tour developed by Denis Balsama this scenic drive will offer fun roads at a reasonable pace. Our start will be at the PA Welcome Center, 18 River Rd, Delaware Water Gap, PA 18327. Immediately out of the rest area we will zigzag between the river and the hills to the west before crossing into NJ for lunch. We will visit Portland and Bangor PA, important towns in the rail and mining industries that dominated this area.

Lunch will be at an old favorite, Hot Dog Johnny’s in Butzville, NJ.

Follow the leader – run with the large group

Follow the directions – you will be provided with written directions and a link to the Tourstart GPS app. Form small groups or run by yourself. These drivers will leave 15 min before the large group.
