My 2017 RF Club came with a 3-piece factory shock tower brace, but I like the looks of this new one from Good-Win-Racing so I thought I'd give it a try.
The RoadsterSport ND V2 X Brace has a design similar to the brace used on the MX-5 Cup racing cars, but it's aluminum rather than steel, and weighs only 4.3 pounds.
I installed this brace primarily for aesthetic reasons, and did not expect to car to feel any different. However, its steering response is now slightly quicker and it feels a bit more sure-footed in the corners.
The differences are not huge, but they are clearly noticeable, and that's more than I expected from such a minor change.
And it looks pretty cool when I open the hood!
